Multiplication charts in green, orange, blue, and white

If you have a child that is working to memorize the multiplication facts, you know that it can take some time and effort.

While some kids seem to memorize math facts almost effortlessly, others may struggle to recall them, even after plenty of practice.

Tips for Using Printable Multiplication Charts

Use as wall charts.

Print the multiplication chart of your choice to hang on the wall as a handy reference. I recommend laminating the chart for durability.

And while you’re at it, why not print a second chart to hang in another noticeable location? One of my boys (at the age of 4) loved having a math chart hung on the ceiling above his bed!

Add to student binders.

Print one of these multiplication charts, slip it in a page protector, and add it to your child’s homeschool binder. This makes it super easy to find when they are working on math.

Save on ink.

Need to reduce printing cost? Print the white multiplication chart on colored cardstock for a fun, colorful chart on a budget.

Write and Wipe Fact Family Boards

Write and Wipe Fact Family Boards are an effective way to practice multiplication facts while also reinforcing the relationship between multiplication and division. Use a dry-erase marker to write in the fact families you want your child to practice; wipe clean to reuse again and again.

Multiplication Wrap-Ups

Multiplication Wrap-Ups are a great alternative to flashcard drills. Not only are the Wrap-Ups more fun, but they are also self-correcting, making them easy for kids to use independently.
