Why does it seem that children grow up in the blink of an eye? It seems like only a few years have gone by since Brandon was born, but at 18, he’s already a young man. He’s working a full-time job while finishing his senior homeschool year. And he surprised me with these beautiful flowers for Valentine’s Day!
Seeing how my older children have grown up makes me want to hold my little ones just a little bit tighter.
Kiera is already 8 weeks old and such a personable little lady! We all love to hear her coo and gurgle her sweet baby sounds. Even her teenage brothers are wrapped around her little finger–and that makes this mama’s heart so happy!
Kendra is not quite 3, but she loves to mother Kiera. She was so excited to “match Kiera” for church last Sunday!
Kendra has also been enjoying her Easy Bake Ultimate Oven, thanks to Kaylee’s time and patience. Honestly, I have no idea how I managed before Kaylee was old enough to help me! I love how happy Kendra looks in this picture–and isn’t that cake cute?
We’re staying pretty much on track with homeschooling, even with a new baby in the house. Well, all except writing, that is. I have been letting it slide because it takes more time and focus than I can muster just yet.
Thankfully, Devin (10th grade) is able to continue his online writing course from Fortuigence. I really don’t know how I would be able to keep him progressing in his writing without outside help.
