  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c. butter, softened
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg

  • Place fruit in greased 5-qt. slow cooker. Sprinkle with 1/3 c. sugar.
  • In medium mixing bowl, combine eggs, butter, flour, 1 c. sugar, baking powder, and nutmeg with mixer. Spread batter over fruit.

Judy, these recipes look fabulous! I enjoy following your blog. Was just curious if I could use home canned peaches and how many. Keep the recipes coming!

    • Hi Candy, I have used canned peaches (without the syrup, of course), but I just eyeballed the amount. You may also need to reduce the sugar since the canned peaches are already sweeter than fresh. HTH
