Fun at the Park + Huggies Snug & Dry

There’s nothing my kids enjoy more than a day at the park. Whether we go alone or with friends, we always come home with wonderful memories.

Every time we visit our favorite local park, I’m amazed again that it is privately owned and maintained. No public funding, no municipal involvement — just lots of love and dedication from someone who really cares about the children in our community.

Fun at the park

Each spring when we make our first trip to the park, the kids are so excited to check out the play equipment: slides, swings, climbing walls, and even an amazing merry-go-round with a canopy! The little ones enjoy the playhouse, sandbox, and miniature sliding board, while the older ones compete to see who can swing the highest.

I can’t imagine how many memories we would have missed out on if it weren’t for the caring hearts and hard work of people whom I’ve never even met. What a gift they have given to our family and many other families like ours!

As a busy homeschool mom of eight, it can seem impossible to get out the door and have some fun with my children. But this summer I’m committed to making as many memories as possible . . . because we all know that our little ones will be grown in the blink of an eye.

That’s why I’m happy to hear that Huggies wants to give us the opportunity to give back to our community! As part of their promotion of Huggies Snug & Dry Ultra diapers, they are spreading the love by giving away TEN $2000 grants for worthy community projects!

I’ve already nominated our local community park, and now you have an opportunity to nominate your favorite local project, too! Of course, it doesn’t have to be a park; it can be any place where you can make memories with your kiddos.

And it’s super easy to enter! Just post a selfie of you and your baby (or children) to either Twitter or Instagram and mention the project you are nominating. Be sure to use the hashtag #UltraHug along with your picture!

What community project will you choose to nominate?
