A timeline is a tremendous aid in helping children to visualize history. Somehow it seems to help all those people and events come together into one continuous story.
We are using these timeline pages with our Mystery of History (Vol. I) studies this year. The download contains twenty-five printable timeline pages with dates from 5000 B.C. through A.D. 45. Because we are using the History Through the Ages timeline figures, I’ve used the recommended date increments from Homeschool in the Woods.
Now available in two separate downloads:
- Lined Timeline Pages
- Unlined Timeline Pages

If you find these timeline pages useful, I’d love for you to spread the word! Please share the link to this post (not the download links). And if you’d like to see more about how we use Mystery of History, please take a minute to subscribe for FREE email updates from Contented at Home!
These timeline pages are in no way associated with or endorsed by Bright Ideas Press, the publisher of Mystery of History. They are simply a learning tool that I developed for use in our homeschool and decided to share with other homeschooling families.

I have searched and searched and I want a timeline like yours (one that is horizontal), but I need it from the 1800s to present day for our school year. Are you planning on continuing the timeline in the near future? or is there a resource that I can use to make my own? I started looking at making one with Excel, but feel like I’m reinventing the wheel here. I don’t want to spend lots of time on it if I don’t need to.
Any ideas / help would be appreciated.
