Free Printable Timeline Pages {5000 BC-AD 45}

Free Printable Timeline Pages (Lined)
A timeline is a tremendous aid in helping children to visualize history. Somehow it seems to help all those people and events come together into one continuous story.

We are using these timeline pages with our Mystery of History (Vol. I) studies this year. The download contains twenty-five printable timeline pages with dates from 5000 B.C. through A.D. 45. Because we are using the History Through the Ages timeline figures, I’ve used the recommended date increments from Homeschool in the Woods.

Now available in two separate downloads:

  • Lined Timeline Pages
  • Unlined Timeline Pages

  1. I have searched and searched and I want a timeline like yours (one that is horizontal), but I need it from the 1800s to present day for our school year. Are you planning on continuing the timeline in the near future? or is there a resource that I can use to make my own? I started looking at making one with Excel, but feel like I’m reinventing the wheel here. I don’t want to spend lots of time on it if I don’t need to.

    Any ideas / help would be appreciated.

    • Hi Katie,

      I am currently working on more timeline pages, and I hope to offer a complete set as a free download for subscribers in the next week or so. I hope this is helpful!

      Thanks so much for visiting and commenting–I enjoy getting to meet my readers, especially other homeschool moms!

  2. Thank you so much for posting your timeline pages. They are just what I needed.

  3. These are so nice! I am also interested in other pages, especially year two for Mystery of History.

  4. Printing these today as we finish Volume 2 of Story of the World — having the kids make a timeline for review. Thank you!
