Fun at the Park {Moments to Remember}

In the midst of all the heat, I made good on a promise to take the kids to the park. Not just any park–a very special park tucked away in the country, just off a rustic little lane. We always have this lovely space to ourselves, which makes for a perfect family adventure.

Kendra loved peeking through the rail to see the stream beneath the bridge!

Weston loves the slides and swings that are just his size. If you look closely, you can see Keaton and Collin playing in the background. Everyone, big or little, has fun at the park! (I even heard rumors of a certain teenager of mine getting a teensy bit sick from the merry-go-round!)

Kaylee and Kendra had so much fun swinging together. I love how Kendra is holding on to Kaylee’s arm!

And one last picture of my littlest girl–she is growing up way too fast!

We also saw a fat porcupine waddling down the road just before we got to the park. I wish I would have thought quickly enough to get a picture, since I’m not sure I’ll ever get quite that close to a (live) porcupine again!

Moments to Remember was developed as a simple way to look back on our week as homeschoolers and find photos that encompass the memories we want to remember.
The week may have been tough, there may have been more bumps than smiles, but in the end these are the moments that keep us going, the ones we need to remember.
